
On the second Thursday in May, the Delaware Bankers Association holds its Annual Meeting and Dinner in the Gold Ballroom of Wilmington's historic Hotel duPont. All members and associate members of the DBA are invited to attend the dinner portion of the event. The evening includes a prominent guest speaker. Past speakers have included best-seller authors William
F. Buckley, Mitch Albom, James Bradley, and Tucker Carlson.
The 2010 Annual Meeting and Dinner was held on Thursday, May 13, 2010. This year's keynote speaker was Charles E. Cook, Jr., publisher of The Cook Political Report, and political analyst for the National Journal Group, where he writes weekly for National Journal magazine and Congress DailyAM. He also writes a regular column for the Washington Quarterly, published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and is a political analyst for NBC News.
