Bank of America Teammates Teach Better Money Habits During Financial Capability Month
Bank of America teammates stepped up in a big way to teach Better Money Habits during Financial Capability Month! Whether it was team teaching financial education at a nonprofit agency, volunteering for the Delaware Personal Finance Challenge, or teaching a savings lesson in a classroom for Teach Children to $ave Day, we delivered on our company’s purpose of making financial lives better. We were, once again, the number one bank in Delaware with 80 volunteers reaching nearly 2,000 students for Teach Children to $ave Day! We count our teammates as some of the industry’s best skills-based volunteers, impacting lives by helping young people improve their economic mobility. Some of the highlights this month included: Delaware Market President Chip Rossi joining in the fun, teaching a savings lesson to fourth graders at Highlands Elementary School and the high school team from Newark Charter School besting over 60 students to win the University of Delaware Personal Finance Challenge (volunteer team in pic PFC 2019).
